What Causes Sudden Dizziness Leading To Death?

Dr. My uncle was 75 was diabetic had slight high blood pressure. Last Wednesday had rapid breathing, complained of dizziness, lost consciousness and died on his sofa. I am trying to find possible cause. He was fine and everything changed in two minutes. He said he had no pain just dizzy.
