What Causes Sudden Elevation In Blood Pressure Levels?

suddenly before 20 days ago my BP gone 140/100. I was kept for observation for 24 hrs in a hospital. Now daily I am taking medicines named...Telista 40, Razel 5 and Homochek. Again today in the night I felt very uneasy and could not sleep. What is the reason? I have no sugar etc illness. Should I consult any cardioligist? My age is 52 yrs and weight 52 kg.
