What Causes Sudden Growth Of Hair In Earlobes?

I am 15 years old, 5'9", and 130lbs. Over the past 2 years I've noticed that hair has begun growing on my earlobes. It started off as a light fuzz, but (as with all hair) has become darker and more noticeable. Why is this happening? And how can I prevent/end it?
