What Causes Sudden Onset Of Confusion And Drowsiness?

My wife and I were in a store and she suddenly became very confused and did not know the reason why she was there. She is fully aware of everything and her surroundings now all she wants to do is sleep. What should I do to help.? YYYY@YYYY
