What Causes Sudden Popping Sensation In Abdomen?

I was in the bathroom and I bared down to throw up the toilet because I felt sick and when I did try to throw up. its felt like I popped something on right side of abdomen of above my pelvic bone ! It still feels uncomfortable. what could it be!? I am weight lifter but I wasn t lifting weight today.??? please help
