What Causes Sudden Sparkles In Vision Along With Severe Headaches?

recently the last couple weeks I've been noticing something strange. I will be sitting there and all of sudden I see sparkles flash as it were almost 3D. It hardly ever happens when I get up to fast but happens at the most uncommon times. Followed by series of headaches that day.
