What Causes Sudden Weight Gain When Having Irregular Periods?

hello. I have irregular menses. its been 2.5 months i didnt have menses. long back doc had pescribed me following tablets coz of irregular periods and the other reason is sudden weight gain and harmone changes tablets are : Modus 10 Siphene Melmet sr Could you please tell me is it ok if i take these medicine again to start my periods.Then i can go to my doctor.
