What Causes Sweating And Abdominal Pain After Medication For Constipation?

I took one pill last night and I woke up sweating, fainting on floor in bathroom and in severe pain. It has been 12 hours and my stomach is still in pain. My stomach burns and I can t really eat or drink anything . Did I have an allergic reaction? Do I have obstruction in my stomach/intestines. I don t ever want to feel this way again but I have constipation and it seems to be the only thing that works. I take one every couple months just to relieve but the pain is getting so severe I don t ever want to take it again.
