What Causes Sweet After Taste In The Mouth In A Diabetic?

I'm a diabetic and in control now that I have said that my issue is in the pass two weeks I'm getting a seet taste in my mouth. My sugars are in control so I know it's not my diabetes and when I eat a meal the taste is stronger. I'm using a baking soda tooth paste and thought maybe that? Everything else in my diet is the same. I'm 52 and weigh about 160-165 and I'm 5ft 7in tall. The only other concern is when I do eat right wear my bra strap is above my stomach it almost feels like a contraction or spasm of sort but this doesn't happen all the time and if I remove my bra it helps? I have made an apt next Monday to see my doctor but thought I would try this to narrow it down.
