What Causes Swelling And Burning Sensation On Labia?

I have had a swollen labia with a burning sensation. It's very red and it's getting very painful to even walk. I have had it for about 48 hours now. Today I had noticed a lot of white thick discharge on my panties.. could I have some kind of a vaginal infection? or even some kind of an std?
