What Causes Swelling And Inflammation Of Eyelid?

Hi my daughter came home from school with a pink eye lid. This morning it is swollen. I think she may have been bitten by something. She does not seem to be in pain just sore and only not itchy. Her eye is not red. Do I need to bring her to a doctor? She does like the doctors.
