What Causes Swelling And Inflammed Rough Skin Over The Joints?

hello doctor, i am an allergic rhinitis patient. I have developed a kind of swelling and inflammed rough skin over my fingers joints since treatment (Monteluecast and levocetrizine combination for 3 months). I have stopped taking it but the inflammation is continuing. Can you explain me whats happening to my body? The doctor i saw told me its not because of the drugs but i dont believe him because, it developed only after taking the medicine. Do i have to go for blood test or any other test?
