What Causes Swelling And Pain In The Ear While Suffering From Sinus Infection?

My school is no more than 800meters away from my house I walk every day. About 3 days ago I walked to school I usually wear my beanie but I left it in my locker. I thought it wasn't a problem since school was seriously across the street and through the football field. It was on -28 but the wind was deadly. I went on with my day. A few hrs later I noticed it was red and swollen? Did think much of it I thought it was apart of the sinus infection I was just getting. I always get an ear infection when I get sick I always have. By that few more hrs pass and I began to get tired and sicker. I got sent home from work because I legit look like I was dying. Made it home layed in bed for about 2 days and sweat it out! The other day I was feeling better but the " ear ache" wasn't gone! And I started researching and I have frostbite.. My ear is super red, swollen and it some lighting it looks dark red I have feeling through all of my ear If feel pain when I pinch it. So it's not dead? Can it get worse from here? Right now it's peeling? Help what did I do?
