What Causes Swelling And Painful Twinging Sensation On Toes?

Hello. When it s cold or first thing on a morning the two toes after my big toe feels like there is an elastic bad around them. Today I had that sensation and when I walked on it, I got a very painful twanging sensation in those two toes. The ball of my foot has become somewhat swollen and I am unable to walk on my foot without a burning and sharp scratching pain which shoots up my two toes. Could you shed any light on this please?
