What Causes Swelling And Redness In Hands In The Morning?

I have RA and Fibromyalgia. My Rheumatologist keeps telling me that my bloodwork shows my RA is under control. I keep waking up in the mornings with both of my hands completely swollen and very red and hot. After I m up and get around, the swelling goes down and the redness gets better. I have a little pain in a couple of my finger joints but not all and not bad. What could be causing this?
