What Causes Swelling And Redness In Scrotum While On Nystatin?

I have been using Nystatin for 12 days because my MD diagnosed Jock itch. He had me to apply it completely covering of the scrotum, and it seemed to be working fine. I am positive the condition is not STD related as I have not been sexually active for 10 years. I took the shingles vaccination 6 days ago and 3 days following the vaccination I developed a red bumpy rash over most of my trunk above the waist. The rash itched and was uncomfortable and I returned to my MD thinking I might have had a reaction to the vaccination or the Nystatin. He did blood work and assured me that the rash was not shingles or a chickenpox rash. He also called the CDC and they said they had 53 people reporting full body rash following the vaccination.He told me to take Benadryl for two days then Claritin (which I started today)and continue the Nystatin. I have not changed any detergents and use only ivory bath soap every day. The rash has navigated past my waist now, so I discontinued the Nystatin thinking it may have triggered an allergic reaction. This morning my groin and scrotal sac was very dry and I used a small amount of bacitracin and it caused burning. I then showered and gently used Ivory bath soap in the area. Now my scrotum is somewhat swollen,is red, and the entire area is weeping. I have not applied anything else. I ve never experienced anything like this weeping. I have been laundering undergarments and bed linens in plain hot water,since the body rash occured, then drying them at a high temperature.Presently I have not even cotton underware on, only a robe, hoping the weeping will stop and dry up.I am allergic to cortisone I believe, once I used it for an ear infection in drop form and It worsened the condition. I also use only Almay hypoallergenic deodorant as others break me out. Other than that I am a healthy 60 year old man.I also take a statin and an aspirin everyday. I would greatly appreciate your opinion and advice. What would cause all of this weeping?
