What Causes Swelling And Sensitivity On Tongue After Missing ADHD Medication?

I have adult ADHD and was recently put back on medication. I started taking a generic amphetamine salt 5 days ago. I take 20mg or 30mg each day. I stopped taking it yesterday because I began experiencing swelling and sensitivity in my tongue and somewhat in the lips. I did not take the perscription yesterday or today because of this, and my tongue is still swollen and sensitive. I am wondering is this is due to the generic perscription because I took regular adderall XR 7 years ago, and did not have this reaction. I am not currently taking XR. Is the reaction related to the perscription? I also took Benadryl today in case it was an allergy, it did not help. I d like to be able to continue using this prescription.
