What Causes Swelling And Tenderness In Buttocks?

My buttocks have been swallon till very big. Its very painful at the slightest touch. And i cant even put my left leg straight and walk properly. Having doctor appointment on the 8th. Is there any way i can do to reduce the swell and pain? The swell and pain is unbearable. Need help pls
