What Causes Swelling And Visible Veins In Feet?

hi, i am 53 and have a problem with my feet. they both started to swell with pain coming from the arch and i could not walk. A day later the pain had gone both feet were swollen with the one swelling more on the right foot. i now have pain on the front side of the one foot and veins are starting to to show on both feet, please could you let me know Thankyou Phil
