What Causes Swelling Around Upper Chest And Clavicles?

my husband began having chest pain last pm. We took him to the ER. Admitted for Cardiac observation. Due for Cath tomorrow. All cardiac work up is neg. This morning he had teeth pain. Today, he developed soft tissue swelling around his upper chest and clavicals. He looks like the Michelin man! It is not crepitus or nodular. They did a cxr - normal. ABG s normal. He does have some SOB but not severe. He has a new AICD from 2 months ago. He is 70 years.
