What Causes Swelling In Ankles And Lips While On Lisinopril And Norvasc?

I am taking carvedilol, lisinipril and norvasc and I experience ankle swelling and sore and swollen lips. I feel I am over medicating. I would like to understand the reason I am taking each of these meds and if these meds are OK to take together. I m 84 and my average blood pressure w/o lisinipril and norvasc is 130's to 140. But my dr. insists I continue lisinipril and norvasc. I am generally healthy and active.
