What Causes Swelling In Face Ad Neck?

I am a 74 yr/old femae I have had facial swelling. The Left side of my neck is also slightly swollen. I have been on the Same medications for years, except for my antidepressant venlafaxine (37.5mg). I also restarted my thyroid medication a few months ago, but the Swell began prior to presuming the thyroid med. I m hoping you can help me with some suggestions about the cause(s) of this problem. It s very upsetting & others are noticing... My husband and friends.
