What Causes Swelling In Head Along With Headaches?

I fell and hit my head about 2 weeks ago. Hit my head really hard on the pavement, but there was only a little swelling, and it went down after about 2 - 3 days. Two weeks later, I am getting a headache. Does this have anything to do with the fall I had?
