What Causes Swelling In Legs And Feet After Receiving Dexmethasone Injections?

yes thank you. I was in the hospital for 5 days and was given dexmethasone injections and then 18 1MG tabs to take home and decrease every day. i had not much more than broth and jello for five days and gained 14 pounds!!! my legs and feet and knees are very swollen. please tell me when this will go back to normal and how?
