What Causes Swelling In The Ear?

Hello Doctor, i have had this sore feeling inside my right ear for about 2 weeks now, this week it just seems to be getting worse. My right ear is heavily swollen just on the inside of the ear lobe, it feels similar to a blind pimple, but swelling rather fast the past 2 days, the inside of my ear is almost closed up. What could be the reason?
