What Causes Swelling In The Hand Post Treatment For A Bed Sore?

my mom is 83 suffers from parkinsons and dementia, she is also being treated daily by district nurses for alarge pressure sore has she has no mobility..tonight her right hand is slightly swollen..do I need a gp in to see it ..I do try not to bother the gp if I can get along without bothering him ?..
