What Causes Swelling In The Knuckle Post Treatment For A Cut?

I cut my finger right on the knuckle very deep cut. Dr glued. Although the cut itself appears to have healed my knuckle is still swollen and I nod have stuff and very sore muscles especially my legs and a little shortness of breathe. Could these symptoms be related to this injury?
