What Causes Swelling In The Thigh With Tingling Sensation?

My right leg is swelling, especially in the thigh area. My skin is tight and my leg tingles occasionally. I do not have a blood clot in the leg. What else could be causing this? I m 5 4 114 pounds. I normally weigh 110. I m assuming the extra weight is fluid.
