What Causes Swelling In The Vagina With Prolonged Periods?

ive been bleeding for over 3 months now, and ive had a ovarian laprosocpic something, and they found nothing... after multiple ultrasounds saying there was something there. recently i thought i had a tampon 'lost' inside me, so i went to go feel for it, there was nothing there.. but it felt swollen, and it felt like there was something in there stopping my hand, im not pregnant, and ive never had sex.... what should i do?
