What Causes Swelling Inside Vagina?

I had sex over 2 weeks ago now. for a couple of weeks i have felt discomfort inside my vagina but not all the time, mostly in the evening. I cant really explain the feeling but its almost like im cut and swollen inside my vagina. Help please is this an STD?
