What Causes Swelling Of Toe With A Pale Discharge?

I think I may have an ingrown toenail, but I am not fully sure. One edge of my large toe is slightly swollen, but there is no pain. However, upon examination, there is some slight pale discharge coming from it. All edges of the toenail are past the main section of the toe at the moment. I would like to know if there is anything to worry about, and any home treatments I can try. If I must see a doctor, I will be unable to do so until Monday.
