What Causes Swelling Of Upper Lip And Breathlessness While Being Diagnosed With Shingles?

My step son has been having a problem with swelling around his upper lip, under the nose. He has also had trouble breathing at the same time. He has shingles and is very over weight. could this be because of the shingles or because of the overweight problem?
