What Causes Swelling On My Face?

Hi. My face has become very swollen today after 2 days of a tooth ache in my front tooth. it appears that the swelling was pressing down on the nerve or something.. Also, the swelling has spread from deep in my skin around my nose to my cheek and lips.. I have no allergies. but i used to have cystic acne. This is very painful.. Should I go to the doctor or just wait it out?
