What Causes Swelling On My Forehead Along The Hairline?

i have a swelling on my forehead along my hairline, its not painful nor red. started as a little swelling and has grown to the size it is. when i press on it, i feel pressure along the length of it. I have not had any injuries that can be relevant to the cause of it and i am totally bemused as to what has caused it.
