What Causes Swollen And Splitting Of Lips?

hi, im a 34yr old female. It had not happened in so long but recently, when i wake my top lip is split in center and swollen and had been bleeding when i was asleep. i always have a stuffed nose when this happens . i have ibs and its been bothering me most the past wk and that has been present 3 or 4 of the days? is it allergy or ibs related or?? plz help me, though i have a nice full lip i could pay for it hurts
