What Causes Swollen Ankle Along With Indentation?

Hi My left ankle swells and hurts to turn inwards Burning sensation and sometimes a hole on top of ankle when swollen. Sometimes skins looks a little darker, also very painful at bottom of heel. Thick looking veins in ankle area looking like vericose, and top of foot shows like three little holes or indents.
