What Causes Swollen Arm While Having Rotator Cuff Tear On Shoulder?

Under arm swelling only rt. arm area . It usually occurs after working all day. I pull & lift a case on wheels with my laptop and portable printer. I also have a recent diagnosis t For a rotar cuff tear on rt. shoulder. However, the orthopedist says it s not related. What could it be?
