What Causes Swollen Ear Lobe?

ok i just recently stretched my left and right ear lobe on saturday to a 00g i was a 0g well today my left ear lobe was swollen and i took an ibeprofen to reduce pain and applied ice for swelling and then i notice some orange stuff on the back of my earing so i squeezed some blood and pus out of my ear so i put alcohol on it then applied neosporin and i put my old clean 0g back in should i make a dr. appt ?
