What Causes Swollen Gland Behind Ear And Itchy Rash On Face?

I have had a swollen gland behind my right ear for about a week, then Sunday a small itchy rash started on my face. By yesterday my upper back, shoulders, neck face and I think even in my hair is covered in the rash. If I run my nails across it the pain is like needles. Any ideas
