What Causes Swollen Lymph Nodes Along With White Pus At The Back Of Throat?

I have been sick for two months, first from mesenteric adenitis now I have white pus on the back of my throat and swollen lymph nodes in my neck (I can feel the lumps) and I looked in the back of my throat and I can see what I think is the epiglottis looks like a second tongue. A week ago all my blood work and scans were normal. i was told to come back in a week if there is no improvement. What could this be?
