What Causes Swollen Lymph Nodes And Boils On Arm?

i had a small boil like structure or maybe pimples around my arm area,when the boil broke,water come out and it developed into a smaller wound,now a can feel a swollen luymph nodes on my arm but not very close to where the boil was,could the swollen lymph be as a result of the boil?
