What Causes Swollen Lymph Nodes?

Hi, im a bit worried about whats happening with me, the lymph nodes on my jaw, right behind my chin, one on the back of my neck, the one by my collarbone, and a couple the the vertical groin grouping of lymph nodes right by the tendon there in front are swollen, along with a very sore throat and im getting pretty hot at night almost to the point of sweating, my doctor has me on 100mg dioxyciclene twice a day but im worried it might not be just a standard infection
