What Causes Swollen Painful Foot Which Causes Difficulty In Moving?

her foot is swollen and is warm to touch lots of pain like gout but it is the whole foot and we are truck drivers and she is very active but when we get in the truck she gets this problem and usually sits for hours at a time with out moving, what could be the problem
