What Causes Swollen Penis After Having Unprotected Sex?

My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex while I was on my period, and now he says his penis has to be pulled in order for him to pee (swollen). I used a summers eve douche right before we had sex, which had fragrance, so I don t know if that s why its swollen. I don t have any STDs though, just trying to see what the problem is.
