What Causes Swollen Tongue And Gums After Starting Low-carbohydrate Diet?

I just started a very low carb diet and have experienced a lot of side effects in my mouth. My tongue is swollen in the back, I m getting frequent canker sores and my gums are swollen and bleed when I brush them. Is it because of the new diet? How can I fix it?
