What Causes Swollen Vein At The Ankle And Behind Knee?

Hi I had a swollen vein 4weeks ago. Since then I have aches in a vein at the ankle and behind knee on opposite leg. 4 strange red marks have appeared at the top of my left leg. They don t itch but are large. I have occasional chest pains but not constant and pain in the upper back.
