What Causes Tearing From Eyes Followed By Headache?

my daughter, 13, has had spells that she feels like she is in a dream. She pours tears and it only last a few seconds. followed by a headache. Told this could be migraines. Not totally sold on this because she doesnt have the symptoms of a migraine. Just a headache afterwards.
