What Causes Tender Spot In Calf Along With Intermittent Twitching?

Hello, I had ultrasound guided sclerotherapy treatment performed on by left calf over a month ago. I just had a follow up with my doctor yesterday and ultrasound showed I have a superficial clot(trapped blood).There is a hard tender spot present. I also have twitching sensations on and off. There is also pain in that area that is hard ( was told trapped blood from the procedure and will go away on its own)Is this normal? Thanks
