What Causes Tenderness Along The Hair Line?

Starting about 3 months ago I began to feel a tenderness about 3 in. along the left side of my hairline. Unfortunately, there have been a couple of other things on the left side: a macular hole in my left eye (unrepaired), and a head injury (from a fall against a table causing a laceration about 15 years ago); and also a keratosis. The skin doctor has said it is not connected to the keraosis. I have not asked the eye doctor or a neurologist. I keep thinking it will go away, but it changes in tenderness, but does not completely go away. Should I see the neurologist? Thank you.
