What Causes Tenderness In Breasts After A Miscarriage And Diagnosed With Polyps?

I had a miscarriage at only a few weeks pregnant in November. Due to irregular bleeding & evidence of pregnancy hormone still in january I had a scan & it was thought the scan showed there was product still remaining. However after hysterocope investigation it was confirmed i have several 2cm cervical polyps. I am awaiting day surgery for removal but for some time now since i have quite tender breasts. Would this still be related to the miscarriage after all this time? or is it a symptom of the polyps? Or is it connected to neither? I am 39 & have a 4 year old child. Please advise your help is much appreciated.thanks
